FOX 35 NEWS

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- A seventh person has been arrested for a prank last week at Eustis High School.

The new prankster? A former police officer.

Ex--Howie in the Hills officer, Robert Rasnake resigned Tuesday before turning himself in. He was booked into the Lake County jail.

The prank happened when Rasnake and six others planted pygmy goats at Eustis High School. Five of the graduates received citations, while the other, a 17 year-old will go through the juvenile court system.

Authorities said Rasnake allowed the friends to plan the prank at his house, then drove the pranksters to the back of the school, where they unloaded all the goods.

Police said they even used a two way cell phone to keep in contact with Rasnake the entire time.

Rasnake is facing charges of burglary and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

From Capitol Hill...

Pam Androff (MC'06) is spending this summer in Washington D.C. participating in the prestigious WISE Internship program. The Washington Internship for Students in Engineering (www.wise-intern.org) is one of the Princeton Review's 100 Best Internships. The program pairs engineering students with the Government Relations office of a sponsoring engineering society. During the program, interns learn about engineering public policy and how individuals can affect the course of policy in the United States - just by being involved in the process.

We're looking forward to hearing all about the amazing impact Pam is making in D.C.!

Welcome!

Welcome to our blog! We've decided that being members of Kappa Alpha Theta is such an exciting experience that we just can't keep it to ourselves!

The Eta Theta chapter was established at the University of Central Florida in 2000. For the past eight years we have grown into a strong chapter of dedicated, loyal, fun-loving sisters.

Each semester is filled with exciting social events, from formals and date functions, to football games and sisterhood events. Yet some of our greatest memories are made bonding over favorite TV shows, late night dance practices, and talks with close friends. The sisterhood that we share is indescribable and can only be understood through experience. And now, we can share it with you!

So...check back often! We may be busy with summer fun, but we're already gearing up for an exciting recruitment and fall semester!
